The Dense Bit is part of a body of work that depicts the sensations that come with being in the south Australian, dusty yet lush landscape.

This piece in particular is about adventure, going on long bush walks and getting into the thick of it. The part of the walk that forces you to slow down and watch your step, bringing the awareness of your surroundings to the forefront of your mind.
