SAY IT NOW
‘Say It Now’ has a message for us all. You know the feeling when something isn’t right, someone just said something that made you feel uncomfortable. Honour yourself and speak up. You may not get the recognition you want for being hurt/uneasy however, you know that you said it. This reminds your body that YOU are a safe person. This also goes for speaking the truth. Even when it’s uncomfortable, it’s always worth it and the universe will reward you. And it is EXTREMELY important to know that YOU have your own back and that you are willing to speak up for yourself even when no one else will.
You owe it to yourself to start now. Start small. For example: ‘No I don’t want peas, I don’t like them’ instead of eating the peas they made you for dinner. Speak your truth and don’t apologise for unnecessary things. Speak it now before it’s too late. Your body hears everything and responds accordingly. Let it respond for the better by making kind and brave choices for yourself. If could be as simple as asking for a new coffee when the barista made it wrong, or telling the person at work it was you that used all the teabags and forgot to refill them (when they ask you) because ITS OKAY ❤️
A4 original artwork. Watercolour, pencil, watercolour paper.
